About the National Bank of Ethiopia:
The National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) was established in 1963 by Proclamation No. 206/1963 and began operations in January 1964. Before this proclamation, the Bank carried out both commercial and central banking activities. The proclamation granted the Bank administrative autonomy and juridical personality, strengthening its role as Ethiopia’s central bank.
With the rapid growth of the financial sector, NBE is expanding its branch network across selected cities. To support this initiative, the Bank is seeking competent fresh graduates to serve as Junior Specialists at branch construction sites.
Position: Junior Specialist
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/LLB) from a recognized institution in one of the following fields:
- Economics
- Management
- Accounting and Finance
- Banking and Finance
- Business Administration
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Information Science
- Law
- Journalism and Communication
- Related fields
Year of Graduation & Academic Requirements
- Fresh graduates of 2024 and 2025
- Minimum CGPA:
- 3.00 for Female applicants
- 3.25 for Male applicants
- Minimum 55% score in the Exit Exam
- Age: Below 30 years
