MK Digital Security Solutions PLC Vacancy 2026: MK Digital Security Solutions PLC (MKDSS) invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Senior Accountant at its Smart Card Factory.
This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, cost accounting, and accounting software, particularly candidates with manufacturing or factory experience.
Position: Senior Accountant
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or a closely related field
- Degree from a recognized college or university
Professional Experience
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Practical experience in financial recording, posting, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Experience in cost accounting and/or a manufacturing or factory environment is highly preferred
Technical Skills
Candidates should have:
- Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Good computer application skills
- Knowledge of general ledger management
- Knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation
- Financial reporting and analysis skills
- Understanding of cost accounting

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
1. Financial Recording and Posting
- Record and post financial transactions accurately and on time
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Verify supporting financial documents
2. Account Reconciliation
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations
- Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Monitor financial balances and identify discrepancies
3. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
- Develop accounting schedules and supporting financial statements
- Provide accurate financial information to management
4. General Ledger and Financial Records
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Maintain subsidiary account records
- Ensure accounting documents are properly organized and filed
- Monitor advances and other financial balances
5. Inventory and Cost Accounting
- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation
- Review cost variances
- Provide cost and financial information to management
- Assist with financial analysis related to factory operations
6. Accounting Software and Compliance
- Use Peachtree Accounting Software for financial recording, posting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies
- Follow applicable accounting requirements and procedures
- Maintain accurate and confidential accounting records
previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment may have an advantage.
