Position 1: Finance Officer (Addis Ababa)
Education, Licenses & Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of non-profit accounting.
- Desired: Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software such as Sage, Unit4.
- Excellent skills in Excel and proficiency in other Microsoft programs including Teams.
- Skilled in explaining financial procedures to non-finance staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Highly organized with strong quantitative and record-keeping ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
- Commitment to MTI’s values and Code of Conduct.
Position 2: Logistics & Admin Officer (Jijiga)
Education, Licenses & Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business/Public Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification preferred.
Experience
- 2+ years of procurement and logistics experience.
- INGO work experience required.
- Experience with donor-funded projects (UN, USAID, etc.) is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, tendering, contracting, clearance, transport, warehousing, fleet, and asset management.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems.
- Skilled in ERP-based inventory and logistics management.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
- Strong command of Amharic, Somali, and English.
- Ability to act with integrity and ensure proper asset management.
- Ability to manage complex tasks independently with high accuracy and organization.
