Position: Logistics & Procurement Intern
Job Overview
The Logistics & Procurement Intern will support logistics, procurement, and administrative functions of Medical Teams International. The position offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations within an international humanitarian organization, while contributing to efficient and accountable use of organizational resources.
Education, Licenses, and Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or other related social science fields from a recognized higher education institution
- Only female graduates of 2017 or 2018 E.C.
- Minimum GPA requirement: 3.7 and above
Experience
- Zero (0) years of work experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Skills
- Good judgment regarding confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and spoken Amharic and English
- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
Abilities
- Ability to act with integrity and ensure proper use and security of assets
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
- Ability to support MTI’s calling and adhere to the MTI Code of Conduct
