About Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX)
Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) is Ethiopia’s first organized securities exchange, established as a public-private partnership under the Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021.
ESX serves as a central market organizer and Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), offering integrated services across equities, fixed income, and money markets. The exchange plays a vital role in developing Ethiopia’s capital markets and supporting economic growth.
Position: Junior Corporate Service Officer
The Junior Corporate Service Officer supports corporate services operations, including administration, procurement, logistics, and facilities management. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within ESX.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Supply Chain Support
- Assist in procurement processes and vendor coordination
- Support supply chain operations and purchasing activities
Logistics and Transportation
- Coordinate logistics and transportation requirements
- Ensure timely delivery and distribution of materials
Administrative Services
- Provide administrative and office management support
- Maintain records and documentation
Facilities Management, Security, and Safety
- Support facility operations and maintenance
- Assist in ensuring workplace safety and security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in office management, procurement, logistics, or support roles
Competency Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in ERP systems for procurement and facilities management
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English and Amharic
