Position 1: Senior Programme Manager
Key Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to deliver through teams
- In-depth knowledge of FCDO Programme and Project Management (PPM) processes, including PrOF
- Experience managing complex programmes in fragile and conflict-affected settings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads effectively
- Strong financial and risk management expertise
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and partners
- Proven team leadership and staff development capabilities
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in or on Sudan
- Arabic language proficiency
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, PMI, or APM
Salary
USD 2,198.28 (subject to tax and statutory deductions)
Position 2: Deputy Country Director (SEO) – Department for Business and Trade
Key Requirements
- Postgraduate or undergraduate degree with relevant professional qualifications
- Experience supporting businesses to secure commercial opportunities
- Background in private sector, government, or international organizations
- Experience working with government institutions and NGOs
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills
- Strong client-facing experience
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Fluency in English and Amharic
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in business development, investment strategy, and deal structuring
- Knowledge of UK and Ethiopian business environments
- Experience managing budgets
- Understanding of investment services and delivery mechanisms
- Interest or experience in international development
Salary
