Position 1: ACS / Intern – Statistics
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or higher)
- Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree program
- Have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree and start the internship within one year of graduation
Additional requirements:
- Proficiency in standard computer applications
- Strong interest in the work and values of the United Nations
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Professional work experience is not required, but relevant experience should be included in the application profile.
Position 2: ACS / Intern – Data Analysis
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Enrolled in or completed a graduate program (Master’s or higher)
- Enrolled in or completed the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD enrollment in a development-related field
- Knowledge of statistical and data analysis tools such as R or Python
- Experience working with datasets (cross-sectional, time-series, or panel data)
- Skills in data collection, cleaning, validation, and organization
- Ability to support research and produce analytical reports
- Experience creating data visualizations or dashboards
Important Internship Information
- Interns are not financially remunerated
- All travel, accommodation, visa, and living expenses must be covered by the intern or sponsoring institution
- Non-residents may need appropriate visa and work authorization
