The company is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance department.
Position: Junior Accountant
This role is suitable for fresh graduates in accounting who are eager to begin their career in financial management and accounting operations.
Qualification Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Accounting
Experience
- 0 years (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
Required Skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Key Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will support the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
Data Entry
- Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, and expenses
- Maintain accurate entries in accounting systems or manual ledgers
Documentation
- Organize and maintain filing systems for:
- Invoices
- Receipts
- Payment vouchers
- Tax documents
Account Reconciliation
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and petty cash accounts
- Ensure financial balances are accurate
Invoice Processing
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Assist with accounts receivable follow-ups
Tax Support
- Assist in preparing monthly tax filings including:
- VAT
- Turnover Tax (TOT)
- Withholding Tax
Financial Reporting
- Support senior accountants in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports
Compliance
- Ensure financial activities comply with company policies and Ethiopian tax regulations
