We are now inviting applications for the position of Junior Accountant. This role is ideal for motivated graduates or early-career professionals who want to build their expertise in accounting within the construction industry.
Position: Junior Accountant – Finance & Accounting Team
The Junior Accountant will provide essential financial and administrative support to the organization. Working under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, the role includes preparing financial reports, managing compliance, and supporting day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly tax reports to the Ethiopian tax authority.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Prepare payment documents and process company transactions.
- Assist in drafting financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
- Support the finance and administration team with daily operational tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but relevant experience is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
