Position Overview – Junior Accountant

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–2 years of proven experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Mandatory experience using Peachtree Accounting Software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Self-starter capable of working independently and meeting deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily financial records: payables, receivables, reconciliations
- Assist in preparing financial reports: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow
- Monitor and report on cash flow to support operational liquidity
- Accurately record import/export transactions in compliance with international standards
- Support internal departments with accurate financial data
- Assist in external audits and documentation preparation
- Analyze financial performance to support strategic decisions
- Utilize Peachtree and Excel for effective financial tracking and reporting
