JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Microbiologist will support the Microbiology Section by ensuring proper sample collection, sterilization, environmental monitoring, and quality assurance processes in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and SOPs. You will be working under the guidance of the Microbiology Section Head and contribute directly to ensuring pharmaceutical safety and efficacy.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and store raw material, water, and product samples aseptically
- Prepare culture media and sterilize lab equipment
- Perform environmental monitoring (air, surface, hand hygiene tests)
- Assist senior analysts in microbiological testing
- Maintain hygienic, clean, and safe lab environment
- Participate in product validation and OOS (Out of Specification) investigations
- Decontaminate and dispose of waste properly
- Ensure lab equipment is turned off and report damages
- Submit test results to the section head for approval
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Microbiology Section Head
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related field
- Zero years of work experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

- High level of commitment, attention to detail, and proactiveness
- Willingness to learn and support continuous lab improvement
