Position Overview: Airline Reservations & Ticketing Executive
As an Airline Reservations & Ticketing Executive, you will serve as a vital point of contact for customers, managing flight bookings, ticketing, cancellations, and providing exceptional service throughout the travel journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage flight inquiries, bookings, modifications, and cancellations
- Use major airline reservation systems like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo
- Provide passengers with info on fares, travel policies, baggage allowances
- Handle special requests: meals, seating, group bookings
- Accurately process all transactions and bookings on time
- Resolve customer issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with airline services, changes, and promotions
- Liaise with internal teams and airline partners to solve customer queries
- Maintain records and prepare customer interaction reports
- Promote and upsell travel insurance, baggage services, upgrades
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is a plus
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in airline, travel, or customer service
- Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is strongly preferred
