Position: IT Administrator
Are you a skilled IT professional ready to take on a dynamic and cross-functional role in the FMCG manufacturing sector? Dashen Brewery is looking for a tech-savvy, hands-on IT Administrator Jobto manage our systems, networks, security, and support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Network Administration
- Install and configure new hardware and network devices
- Monitor hardware performance and maintain server logs
- Evaluate and report on system integrity and resource usage
- Design and implement secure, scalable network architecture
- Coordinate vendor support and hardware troubleshooting
- Manage change control and system documentation
Systems Administration
- Install OS releases, patches, upgrades on all workstations
- Monitor and fine-tune system performance and resource allocation
- Manage Active Directory, user access, backup schedules
- Implement system audits, logs, and disaster recovery procedures
- Maintain databases and oversee software integration
Asset Acquisition & Vendor Management
- Manage IT hardware/software procurement
- Prepare RFPs and evaluate technical tenders
- Collaborate on IT project plans and lifecycle implementation
Email & Internet Security
- Administer corporate email systems and configurations
- Enforce internet security protocols and data protection standards
- Maintain up-to-date security compliance and firewall protections
Support & Documentation
- Implement a call logging system for IT incidents and user requests
- Create documentation for systems, recovery procedures, and support contacts
- Communicate with external vendors for upgrades and issue resolution
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in FMCG environments
- Strong experience in system administration, network design, and IT asset management
- Familiarity with Active Directory, data backups, and security compliance
- Excellent reporting, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
