The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is one of the world’s largest humanitarian international NGOs, delivering relief, rehabilitation, and development assistance to vulnerable communities in over 30 countries.
IRC has been operating in Ethiopia since 2000, initially responding to severe drought in the Somali Region. Currently, IRC implements emergency and development programs across six regions of Ethiopia in health, WASH, economic recovery and development (ERD), women’s protection and empowerment, education, child protection, and multi-sectoral emergency response, supporting both host communities and refugees.
Available Internship Positions
1. Talent Acquisition Intern
Educational Requirement:
- BA/BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related fields
2. Safety and Security Intern
Educational Requirement:
- BA/BSc in Political Science and International Relations, Global Studies, or related fields
3. Partnership Intern
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or related fields
Eligibility Criteria
- Recent female graduates only
- BA/BSc degree completed
- Strong interest in humanitarian and development work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a multicultural environment
