POSITION: INCOME AUDITOR
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in hotel accounting systems and internal controls? Join Best Western Premier Dynasty Hotel and play a critical role in ensuring accurate revenue reporting and financial integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Reconciliation & Reporting
- Balance credit card transactions with Micros and Opera systems
- Prepare daily credit card summaries and reconcile revenue reports
- Review Opera and Micros data for accuracy and irregularities
Financial Controls & Systems
- Implement and monitor financial control procedures
- Verify rate codes, tax postings, and hotel room & tax charges
- Review SAP ARA postings and ensure consistency with Opera data
Audit & Verification
- Approve group package breakdowns and verify daily postings
- Review function sheets and banquet invoices for alignment
- Reconcile processed transactions and validate system reports
Accounts Payable & Documentation
- Process payment requests and monitor expense reports
- Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and payroll
- Manage financial document archiving, filing, and microfilming
Compliance & Communication
- Stay updated on financial regulatory trends impacting hospitality
- Respond to external auditor and third-party inquiries
- Ensure compliance with hotel and industry financial standards
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or service-related organization
- Proficiency in Opera PMS, Micros, and SAP systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and financial integrity
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple financial workflows
