POSITION: SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with proven managerial experience
- Industry-specific experience in technology, transportation, or related sectors is an advantage
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or equivalent
- Strong data analysis skills using Excel or other analytics tools to manage budgets and procurement metrics
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research to identify suppliers, trends, and cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies balancing cost, quality, and delivery
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contracts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes and improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Lead, train, and evaluate the procurement team for continuous development
- Monitor budgets, forecast procurement needs, and report key metrics
- Leverage data analytics for strategic decision-making
- Perform other related duties as assigned
