Position: General Service Officer
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in logistics, procurement, and facility operations? Wagwago Trading PLC is hiring a General Service Officer to support the company’s administrative, transport, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility & Asset Management
- Ensure smooth functioning of office and warehouse facilities
- Oversee repair and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and buildings
- Maintain asset inventories and manage tagging/tracking systems
2. Procurement & Supplies
- Support procurement processes in compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, purchases, and deliveries
- Maintain procurement documentation and supplier databases
3. Transport Operations
- Assist in scheduling and dispatching company vehicles
- Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of vehicles
- Monitor fuel usage and maintain transport records
4. Administrative & Logistics Support
- Manage utilities, office cleanliness, and security services
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and office setup for staff
- Support day-to-day administrative functions
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and government regulations
- Prepare reports related to logistics, asset usage, and general services
- Support audits and facility inspections
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in general services, logistics, or administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with procurement and vendor coordination
