EthSwitch is now inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:
Open Positions
1. IT Customer Service Officer I
Qualification:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Experience is an advantage
Role: Provide first-line IT support, handle service requests, log and follow up incidents, and ensure proper documentation of IT service activities.
Location: Addis Ababa
2. IT Customer Service Officer II
Qualification:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- 2 years of relevant experience
Role: Support IT service operations with incident, problem, and change management. Guide junior officers and contribute to process improvements.
Location: Addis Ababa
3. Digital Payment Officer II (Definite Period – 1 year)
Qualification:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- 2 years of relevant experience
Role: Conduct UAT testing for digital payment integrations, assist banks with technical issues, monitor transactions, and prepare technical reports.
Location: Addis Ababa
4. Senior Digital Payment Officer
Qualification:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- 6 years (BSc) / 4 years (MSc) of relevant experience (with 2 years in professional positions)
- Ethical competence and certifications are an advantage
Role: Oversee and enhance digital payment systems, manage upgrades, lead testing and piloting of payment integrations (IPS, NPG, Shared Wallet), and troubleshoot incidents.
Location: Addis Ababa
5. Driver / Liaison / Logistics Officer
Qualification:
- TVET 10+4 or Diploma in ICT/Electronics or BA in Accounting/Management or related fields
- 3 years relevant work experience (experience advantage for degree holders)
- Competence in MS Office, ethical behavior, and 3rd-grade/public one driving license
Role: Provide transportation, logistics, and liaison services, process visas and clear consignments, maintain transport records, and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
