Position: Junior Ethics Officer
Ethiopost invites fresh graduates to join as Junior Ethics Officers. This entry-level role focuses on supporting ethics and anti-corruption efforts throughout the organization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science or related field
- Entry-level position with 0 years of work experience required
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian laws and regulations related to ethics and anti-corruption
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills
- Proficient in Amharic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Awareness
- Deliver ethics and anti-corruption training programs for employees
- Monitor and improve training effectiveness
Fraud Investigation
- Investigate allegations of fraud, corruption, theft, and ethical breaches
- Analyze evidence and prepare reports
- Provide information for further investigations and serve as court witness if required
Conflict of Interest Prevention
- Identify and manage potential conflicts of interest
- Develop and implement standards to prevent conflicts
- Maintain public trust and organizational integrity
Asset Declaration and Verification
- Support and monitor online asset declarations to prevent corruption
- Verify accuracy of declared assets
Corruption Risk Management
- Identify corruption-prone areas and recommend preventive actions
- Improve procedures to reduce corruption risk
Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies on ethics and anti-corruption
