Position Summary: DFS & NID Assistant
This entry-level position provides a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to gain experience in customer service, biometric data processing, and digital financial solutions while contributing to Ethiopia’s National ID Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and professionally assist customers with postal, ID, and DFS service needs
- Accurately process customer transactions and data entry
- Promote and cross-sell Ethiopost’s digital and financial services
- Collect and verify personal information and biometric data for National ID applications
- Support National ID applicants throughout the registration process
- Assist with cash handling, account opening, and e-float transactions
- Reconcile cash and electronic balances daily
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, IT, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Experience: No prior experience required (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
- Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and customer-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital service platforms
