About Ethiopost
Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, operating more than 600 branches across the country.
As a state-owned enterprise (SOE), Ethiopost is responsible for establishing and expanding postal services throughout Ethiopia and serves as the country’s designated postal operator (DPO), fulfilling the government’s universal service obligation (USO).
Ethiopost’s vision is to become a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial services, and government services.
Position 1: Programmer
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in API design and systems integration.
- Strong proficiency in modern development technologies such as:
- Java/Spring
- .NET
- Node.js
- Python
- Strong knowledge of API standards, including:
- RESTful
- SOAP
- GraphQL
- Experience with message queues, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of banking protocols, including ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.
- Knowledge of payment gateways and security standards, including OAuth 2.0, TLS, and PKI.

Position 2: DFS Partnership Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in partnership management or business development.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Proven experience in business development and partnership management, particularly within:
- Banking
- Insurance
- FinTech
- InsurTech
- Related financial service sectors
- Experience with high-level stakeholder engagement and business closing is required.

Position 3: DFS Product Portfolio Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business.
- At least 3 years of experience in product development or product management.
- Knowledge of digital financial services and the financial sector.
