Position: Junior Accountant Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Experience: Not required (0 years)
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Ability to analyze data and prepare financial reports
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Perform bookkeeping tasks such as transaction recording, bank reconciliation, and filing
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and monitoring of financial performance
- Ensure regulatory compliance and assist in filing tax returns
- Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights for decision-making
- Monitor expenses and cash flow to support operational needs
- Use accounting software and financial systems to streamline tasks
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and management teams
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor
