Position Summary: Bartender
Ethiopian Skylight Hotel is looking for a qualified and experienced Bartender to join its Food & Beverage team. The role requires professionalism, a strong customer service orientation, and hands-on experience in beverage preparation and service within a hotel or hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to hotel guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Greet customers and ensure prompt and courteous service
- Take beverage orders and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Restock inventory and maintain stock levels
- Assist with bar setup and closing duties
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+1 or Level I Certificate in Food and Beverage Service, Hotel Operations, or related field from an accredited TVET/college/institute
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- Knowledge of drink recipes, bartending equipment, and food safety standards
Additional Requirements
- Age: Between 18 – 35 years old
