Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise was formed in August 2016 through the merger of four previously independent sea transport enterprises: Ethiopian Shipping Lines Share Company (ESL), Ethiopian Maritime and Transit Service Enterprise, Dry Port Enterprise, and the former Comet Transport Share Company.
One of the major foundations of the merger was Ethiopian Shipping Lines Share Company (ESL), originally established on March 1, 1956 E.C with a capital of 50,000 Ethiopian Birr.
The enterprise plays a significant role in Ethiopia’s maritime transport, dry port operations, and logistics services.

Educational Qualification
- Level IV and COC in:
- Automotive Technology
- Mechanics
- General Mechanics
- Automotive Body Repairing and Painting
- Furniture and Wood Work
- Construction
- Garment and Textile
- Manufacturing
- Welding/Fitting Technology
- Surveying
- Sanitary System/Plumbing
Experience Requirement

Position 2: Mess Man
Educational Qualification
- Level IV and COC in Food and Beverage Service
Experience Requirement
- 2 years of experience as Waiter

Position 3: Laundry Man
Educational Qualification
- Level IV and COC in:
- House Keeping and Laundry Operation
- Front Office Supervision
Experience Requirement
- 2 years of experience as Laundryman
