About Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics
Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics (ESL) was established in August 2016 through the merger of four independent enterprises: Ethiopian Shipping Lines S.C., Ethiopian Maritime and Transit Service Enterprise, Dry Port Enterprise, and Comet Transport S.C.
The foundation of this merger, Ethiopian Shipping Lines S.C., dates back to March 1, 1956 E.C, established with a capital of 50,000 Ethiopian Birr. Today, ESL continues to play a vital role in Ethiopia’s maritime and logistics sector, managing shipping, dry ports, and inland transport services.
Available Positions
1. Junior Security Camera Operator (Contract)
- Education: Diploma/Level IV/COC in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience: 0 years (Fresh Graduate)
- Location: Semera Port & Terminal, Dire Dawa
2. Security Camera Operator (Contract)
- Education: Diploma/Level IV/COC in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as CCTV Operator
- Location: Dire Dawa
3. Senior Security Camera Operator (Contract)
- Education: BSc Degree/Diploma/Level IV/COC in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience: 2–4 years as CCTV Operator
- Location: Semera Port & Terminal, Mekelle Port & Terminal
4. Forklift Operator II (Permanent)
- Education: High School completion in Electricity, Special Driving License, and 3rd Grade Driving License
- Experience: 3–4 years (with at least 3 years as Forklift Operator I)
- Location: Semera Port & Terminal
5. Office Assistant II (Permanent)
- Education: Diploma/Level IV/COC in Administrative Service Management, Secretary Science, or Office Management
- Experience: 4 years relevant experience
- Location: Semera
