Position: Customer Care Associate
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Management, or related fields
- 0–1 year of experience in customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Amharic, Afan Oromo; other local languages preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally receive and manage incoming customer calls
- Collect customer information (Customer ID, name, contact details) and access their history
- Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately record details in the tracking system (Appsheet)
- Provide initial responses, assign query/complaint numbers, and communicate next steps
- Refer customer issues to the appropriate departments (Logistics, Finance, ASM, RSM/NSM)
- Follow up with relevant personnel to ensure timely resolution
- Provide regular updates to customers on complaint status
- Escalate unresolved issues according to company protocols
- Confirm resolution with the responsible department and update the tracking system
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
- Adhere to company policies and standards
- Utilize tools effectively (SharePoint Excel tracker, phone line, contact sheets, terms and conditions, etc.)
