Position: Junior Accountant
Qualifications & Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on accounting experience
- Solid understanding of IFRS accounting principles and standards
- Practical experience using Peachtree accounting software
- Experience in preparing financial statements and management reports
- Experience in payroll processing and statutory/government compliance reporting
- Strong organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle basic administrative and operational support tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit monthly statutory and government reports, including tax filings
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities
- Ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Maintain proper documentation, filing, and archiving of financial records
