It is one of Ethiopia’s first private broadcasters, delivering diverse entertainment, news, and cultural programming primarily in Amharic. With headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, and operations in Ethiopia, EBS TV continues to expand its institutional capacity and modernize its systems to meet global media standards.
Positions Available
Position 1: HR & Administration Specialist
Are you an organized and people-oriented professional with a passion for human resources and office management? Join EBS TV and contribute to building a high-performing workforce and efficient administrative system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Development
Oversee hiring, selection, and onboarding processes
Facilitate staff training and development programs - Performance Management
Conduct regular staff evaluations and appraisals
Ensure alignment with organizational goals - Administration & Logistics
Manage office operations and administrative systems
Handle procurement and property management
Requirements:
BA Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Position 2: Finance Specialist
Are you detail-oriented with strong financial management skills? Join EBS TV and support accurate financial operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations
Record daily revenues and expenses
Maintain accurate financial documentation - Tax & Compliance
Handle taxation matters in line with Ethiopian regulations - Payroll Management
Process and administer staff payroll accurately
Requirements:
BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Position 3: Finance Director
Are you a strategic financial leader ready to drive organizational growth? Lead EBS TV’s finance department and ensure strong financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management
Lead and manage the Finance Department
Provide strategic financial direction - Policy Development
Develop and implement financial policies
Monitor compliance and financial performance - Audit & Control
Supervise audit systems and internal controls
Ensure accountability and transparency
Requirements:
BA Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 6 years of experience, including 3 years in leadership
