Position Summary: Junior Regulatory Affairs Officer
(African Registration and Pharmacovigilance Representation)
Droga Pharma PLC is seeking motivated fresh graduates to join its Regulatory Affairs team. The Junior Regulatory Affairs Officer will support African product registration and pharmacovigilance activities in compliance with national and continental regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Competency Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Experience
- No prior work experience required (entry-level position)
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English and French
- Proficiency in at least one local Ethiopian language
Required Skills and Competencies
- Ability to understand and interpret pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines and requirements
- Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and submitting regulatory documentation
- Knowledge of African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH) initiatives and regional regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and safety reporting requirements
- Ability to analyze safety data and prepare pharmacovigilance reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with regulatory authorities and health professionals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to support senior regulatory affairs staff
