Dodai is expanding its operations in Ethiopia and is seeking motivated interns to support its mission in safety, sustainability, and manufacturing excellence.
Position: Environmental Health and Safety Intern
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- Current student or recent graduate status
- Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental sustainability
- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn safety regulations and manufacturing processes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior manufacturing exposure is an advantage (not required)
Key Responsibilities
The EHS Intern will assist with:
- Conducting routine safety inspections in work areas
- Documenting accidents, incidents, and safety reports
- Supporting safety training and awareness sessions
- Maintaining safety records and inspection logs
- Participating in team meetings on safety improvements
- Identifying potential hazards under supervision of senior staff
