Position: Dispenser
Qualifications:
- Degree or College Diploma as a Pharmacist / Druggist, or TVET Diploma in Pharmacy Technology with 0–2 years of experience.
- Certificate as a Nurse / Health Assistant with at least 2 years of drug dispensing experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sort, classify, label, and shelve essential drugs in the outlet.
- Dispense essential drugs according to prescriptions.
- Preserve drug stock and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Keep dispensed prescriptions documented and archived.
- Weigh, measure, and package drugs as instructed.
- Prepare and affix labels with administration instructions.
- Lock and secure prescriptions and special drugs.
- Maintain temperature-sensitive drugs in refrigeration and record temperatures regularly.
- Advise patients on proper drug usage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Head.
