About DOT Ethiopia
Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) is a Canadian-based international non-profit organization empowering young people with digital and entrepreneurial skills. DOT Ethiopia, in collaboration with NOKIA International and Ethio Telecom, is launching an innovative internship initiative to support youth—especially young women—in gaining the skills needed for employment and innovation within Ethiopia’s telecommunications sector.
Internship: Digital Skills for Youth in Telco Work
Are you a fresh graduate passionate about digital skills, community impact, and lifelong learning? This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and professional development in Ethiopia’s growing tech ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18–29 years
- Education: Recent graduate in Computer Science or related fields
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google tools, and social media platforms
- Basic troubleshooting for hardware and software
- Bonus Skills: Graphic design, video editing, WordPress
Character Traits
- Community-oriented and collaborative
- Creative, confident, and professional
- Entrepreneurial mindset or interest in business preferred
Internship Benefits
- 5-month, full-time engagement (35+ hours/week)
