Position Overview: AC Technician
The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning systems and related equipment at Dashen Bank’s Head Office. This role ensures optimal operation of HVAC systems, water cooling systems, and refrigeration units to maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and service air conditioning units and refrigeration systems
- Maintain heavy central air conditioning plants and cooling systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and perform timely corrective actions
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal procedures
Academic & Professional Qualifications
- College Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electricity & Electronics
- Or other related fields
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience with heavy central air conditioning plants is a strong advantage
Functional & Technical Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
- Strong knowledge of AC systems, refrigeration units, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with maintenance methods and industry best practices
