Position: Accountant
Qualification:
- BA Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Work Experience:
- 0–2 years of related work experience (Fresh Graduates encouraged to apply).
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with Peachtree accounting system.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and handle bank reconciliations.
- Data entry speed and accuracy.
- E-filing system knowledge.
- Payroll preparation and documentation skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare payment vouchers, checks, and cash receipt vouchers.
- Handle approved payments in line with agreements.
- Collect payments from clients.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements with company records.
- Update financial data in Peachtree Accounting System.
- Prepare and submit periodic financial reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial records.
- Prepare and process employee payroll.
- Handle tax filings and settle payments with tax authorities.
