Educational Requirements
Applicants must hold a First Degree (BA/BSc) in one of the following fields:
- Marketing Management
- Management
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Related fields of study
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Sales and Marketing within an FMCG environment
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in:
- Key Account Management
- Area Sales Management
- Related sales leadership roles
- Valid Auto / Dry 1 driving license
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor team members
- Deep understanding of FMCG sales practices, RTM principles, and market execution standards
- Ability to resolve conflicts and manage disputes professionally
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Strong negotiation skills with balanced assertiveness and diplomacy
- High resilience and determination to achieve sales targets despite challenges
- Excellent communication skills across multiple formats and audiences
- Ability to analyze and act on sales performance data
- Strong digital skills for sales optimization and reporting
