  • Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1020 or ACT score of 20
  • Be admitted as a full-time degree-seeking student at the University of Michigan–Dearborn
  • Meet English language requirements
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA at the university to renew the scholarship

English Language Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • IELTS: 6.5 or higher
  • TOEFL iBT: 80 or higher
  • TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher
  • TOEFL PBT: 550 or higher
  • MELAB: 76 or higher

FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid student visa (if required)
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be admitted as a full-time degree-seeking student
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA at UM-Dearborn to keep the scholarship
  • Meet English language requirements

Additional Requirements for Transfer Students with Fewer Than 24 Transfer Credits

Applicants must also submit:

  • SAT score of 1020+ or ACT score of 20+
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Proof of English language proficiency
