The University of Michigan–Dearborn Scholarship 2026 is open to international students from around the world who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree in the United States. The scholarship supports outstanding students by providing financial assistance throughout their academic studies.

The University of Michigan–Dearborn, a public university located in Michigan, offers more than 100 undergraduate programs, 43 master’s programs, and 6 doctoral/specialist programs. Through this scholarship program, selected international students can receive $10,000 per year for up to four years.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

For International Freshman Students

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid student visa (if required)
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1020 or ACT score of 20
• Be admitted as a full-time degree-seeking student at the University of Michigan–Dearborn
• Meet English language requirements
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA at the university to renew the scholarship

English Language Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• IELTS: 6.5 or higher
• TOEFL iBT: 80 or higher
• TOEFL CBT: 213 or higher
• TOEFL PBT: 550 or higher
• MELAB: 76 or higher

FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid student visa (if required)
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Be admitted as a full-time degree-seeking student
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA at UM-Dearborn to keep the scholarship
• Meet English language requirements

Additional Requirements for Transfer Students with Fewer Than 24 Transfer Credits

Applicants must also submit:

• SAT score of 1020+ or ACT score of 20+
• Official high school transcripts
• Proof of English language proficiency
