Position Summary
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join its Supply Chain Execution organization in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The selected candidate will serve as a Customer Program Manager supporting customers across Africa and the Middle East. The role focuses on customer relationship management, supply chain coordination, order fulfillment, and delivering world-class customer support.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the aerospace industry
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supply chain-focused role
Required Skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience presenting information to executive leadership
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and organizations
• Strong customer service orientation
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of SAP systems
• Engineering or technical experience
• Account management experience
• Customer support experience
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Understand customer business strategies and operational needs
• Conduct customer meetings through virtual and face-to-face channels
• Monitor customer account performance and health
• Provide solutions to customer inquiries and operational challenges
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and internal stakeholders
• Manage customer orders, deliveries, returns, and spare parts requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal Boeing teams
• Track and monitor customer delivery requirements
• Analyze customer and supplier data to improve service delivery
• Resolve delivery issues and support order fulfillment
• Monitor and share key performance metrics
• Utilize Boeing systems and tools in a fast-paced environment
