Position Available
Digital Community Microfinance & Insurance Agent
Work Type: Commission-Based / Freelance
Location: Your Local Community / Region-wide
Reports To: Regional Coordinator, ID-NET Network
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking passionate, community-centered individuals who want to make a positive social impact and earn income through performance-based rewards.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- Degree in any field from a recognized institution
- Sales/marketing experience is a strong advantage
- Tech-savvy or willing to learn mobile-based tools
- Fluent in Amharic and other local languages (English a plus)
- Trusted and respected in your community
- Committed to women’s empowerment, financial literacy, and inclusion
Key Responsibilities
- Educate clients about ID-NET’s savings and insurance services
- Register new users onto the ID-NET platform
- Handle transactions, premium collection, and claims support
- Conduct outreach via local networks such as Iddirs
- Provide ongoing support and financial education
- Ensure services reach women and marginalized groups
