Position: Assistant Storekeeper
BGI Ethiopia is inviting applications from fresh graduates and early-career professionals to join its operations team in Hawassa.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Accounting
- Management
- Or other related fields
Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in warehouse or inventory management
- FMCG experience is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Support empty bottle storage and container inventory management
- Assist the Storekeeper in maintaining accurate stock and inventory records
- Conduct regular finished goods (FG) stock counts and update transactions
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of products (SKU, quantity, BBF)
- Assist in receiving and inspecting finished goods from production
- Identify and report damaged, missing, underfilled, overfilled, or leaking products
- Support loading and unloading operations in coordination with forklift operators
- Ensure orders are prepared and dispatched according to FEFO principles
- Report safety hazards and operational issues in the warehouse
- Perform additional tasks assigned by line managers
