POSITION SUMMARY
The Principal – Conventional Banking Product Development Officer will lead the planning, development, and execution of conventional banking products. The role involves market research, customer need analysis, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure competitive, customer-focused offerings aligned with the Bank’s strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, design, and develop new conventional banking products and services
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor products
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and IT teams to ensure product success
- Gather and assess customer feedback to improve existing offerings
- Align product development initiatives with the Bank’s strategic goals
- Prepare reports and recommendations on emerging market trends and threats
- Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and research, with exposure to product development in the banking or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of customer-centric product design
- Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects
