Position: Sales Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and qualify leads
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify client requirements and business goals
- Present tailored product demonstrations and explain technical solutions in simple terms
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals that highlight Ashewa’s unique value propositions
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure accurate specs and pricing
- Help the team navigate sales cycles, handle objections, and close deals
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and Ashewa’s expanding product portfolio
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
- 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in ERP, software, or related tech solutions
- Strong ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Skilled in sales methodologies, proposal writing, and client consultation
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and rapport-building skills
Bonus Points
- Experience with ERP implementation or demand-based systems
- Background in website design/development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and goal-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
