Educational Qualification
- Completion of 10th or 12th Grade.
- Old Grade 1 or Motor License.
Work Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Purpose of the Job
The Motorist is responsible for the rapid, secure, and weather-protected delivery of urgent documents, cheques, and small parcels between the Bank, its branches, and external stakeholders, including the Central Bank and tax authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver urgent documents, packages, and transfer letters to bank branches, corporate clients, government offices, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate the prompt movement of high-priority documents to designated signatories and ensure signed documents are returned to the originating department.
- Keep the motorbike clean and well-maintained to uphold the Bank’s professional image.
- Conduct daily motorcycle inspections, including checks of tires, brakes, and engine performance.
- Immediately report mechanical problems, tracking-device malfunctions, and road accidents to the responsible manager.
- Maintain accurate mileage logs, fuel usage records, and repair and maintenance records.
- Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and acknowledged through signatures on return copies or dispatch records.
- Follow the Bank’s code of conduct, internal controls, and risk management procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide services in accordance with established service-level agreements.
- Submit timely, accurate, relevant, and complete performance reports.
- Take corrective action on identified deficiencies and reported issues as directed.
