POSITION: TRADE SERVICE OFFICER (SWIFT)
Ahadu Bank is seeking a qualified Trade Service Officer (Swift) to manage and execute international trade finance operations, with a focus on swift-based processing. This position is essential in ensuring the bank’s trade finance transactions are compliant, efficient, and aligned with global standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle SWIFT messages for import/export trade transactions
- Process Letters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, and other trade instruments
- Ensure timely and accurate settlement of international trade transactions
- Maintain compliance with NBE and international trade finance regulations
- Liaise with correspondent banks, customers, and internal teams to resolve trade issues
- Monitor and reconcile trade finance positions and documents
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Management, Economics, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as Junior Trade Service Officer or related trade finance position in the banking sector
- Solid understanding of SWIFT operations and international trade finance procedures
