Position: Branch Manager I
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, Banking, Management, or related fields
Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years relevant banking experience
- Out of which 2 years must be in a supervisory role or equivalent position
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, District Office, the Branch Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all branch activities. The role includes:
- Mobilizing branch resources
- Approving loans and overdraft facilities within authorized limits
- Handling local and foreign money transfers
- Managing foreign exchange transactions
- Reviewing business and financial backgrounds of loan applicants
- Preparing branch performance and activity reports
- Supporting operational effectiveness and decision-making
