Position 1: Branch Manager I
Location: Jigjiga
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Management, or other related fields
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years relevant banking experience, including at least 2 years in supervisory positions
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily branch operations and service delivery
- Manage staff performance and branch-level customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Support loan processing, risk analysis, and credit management
- Achieve branch growth and profitability targets
Position 2: Manager, IFB Division
Location: Head Office (Addis Ababa)
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MA or BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Islamic Banking, Economics, or related fields
- Experience:
- 6 years (MA) or 8 years (BA) relevant banking experience
- Out of which, 2–3 years as Principal Officer or 3–4 years in Senior Officer roles
- Preferably in Islamic Finance or Interest-Free Banking (IFB)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Interest-Free Banking Division
- Develop IFB products and services aligned with Sharia-compliant practices
- Monitor risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic input to expand IFB operations
- Coordinate with stakeholders and train staff on Islamic finance principles
