Abay Bank S.C. fulfilled all requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia and was officially established on July 14, 2010. The Bank started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.

Position 1: Customer Service Officer – III
Required Education and Experience
- BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business-related field
- 1 (One) year work experience in banking operations
Place of Work: Branches under all districts
Position 2: Administrative Assistant
Required Education and Experience
- BA/Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management / Administrative Service Management
- 2/4 years related work experience
Place of Work: Debre Birhan District Office
Position 3: Collateral Valuator and Engineer – Mechanical
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- 3 (Three) years of experience in designing, estimation, and valuation
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 4: Innovation and Change Management Officer
Required Education and Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting / Management / Economics / Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 (Three) years of relevant work experience
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 5: Attorney
Required Education and Experience
- LLB Degree
- 3 (Three) years of related work experience
Place of Work: Hawassa District Office
Position 6: Senior Accountant
Required Education and Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance or related business field
- Minimum of 4 (Four) years of experience in Finance Department and Tax Authority
- Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws required
- IFRS and ACCA certifications are advantageous
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 7: Branch Manager – Grade – 1
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum BA Degree in Management / Accounting / Economics / Business Management / Banking and Finance
- Minimum of 6 (Six) years of work experience in banking operations, of which 2 (Two) years in a supervisory position
Place of Work: Attota Branch, Hawassa City
