EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should meet one of the following educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Relevant diploma with the required experience.

Fresh graduates who have successfully passed the university exit examination are encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have:

Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network administration.
Familiarity with database management, data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity principles.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, support users, and manage competing priorities.
Professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

The Junior IT Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
Assist with database management, data organization, system updates, and performance monitoring.
Implement IT security measures, manage user accounts and access permissions, and update antivirus software.
Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
Install, test, and update operating systems, business applications, and database management systems.
Monitor system performance, identify technical risks, and recommend improvements.
Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and records of IT incidents and maintenance.
Assist with IT system upgrades, capacity planning, and the implementation of new technologies.
Train and guide employees on IT systems, applications, and information security practices.
Coordinate with other departments and external IT service providers.
Install, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems, recording devices, video storage, and network connectivity.
Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
