Woda Vehicle Manufacturing PLC is a foreign-owned electric vehicle manufacturing company established in Ethiopia in 2023. Located in Woda Industrial Park, Shager City Administration, Oromia Region, the company operates on a 15,000 square meter facility with the mission of becoming the leading electric vehicle manufacturing brand in Ethiopia.
As part of its expansion, the company is inviting fresh graduates and experienced professionals to apply for the following accounting positions.
Position 1: Junior Accountant
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related fields.
Experience
Fresh graduates only.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and basic financial regulations
- Knowledge of accounting processes and financial documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general office software
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Peachtree is an added advantage
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Work Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Senior Accountant
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting software is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax systems and reporting requirements
- Experience in manufacturing cost accounting is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- English language proficiency is required
