VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is an institution established according to Proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to productive poor communities in both rural and urban areas of Ethiopia.

VisionFund currently operates in four regional states of Ethiopia and is seeking qualified professionals to join its team.

Position: Senior IT Risk Management Officer

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must have:

• Minimum BA/BSc Degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Or a related field
• Recognized professional IT risk or security certification, such as:
  • CRISC
  • CISA
  • CISM

Required Experience

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a dedicated:
  • Second-line IT risk management
  • Operational risk
  • Cybersecurity governance
• Experience should preferably be within the regulated banking or financial services sector

Technical Skills & Competencies

Applicants should have strong knowledge and experience in:

• IT risk frameworks such as ISO 27005, NIST, and COBIT
• Cybersecurity controls and threat intelligence
• National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) directives related to:
  • IT governance
  • Cybersecurity
  • Risk management for financial institutions
• Advanced data analysis using:
  • Excel
  • SQL
  • BI tools
• Risk quantification and KRI tracking
• Risk reporting
• Business continuity planning
• Disaster recovery planning
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Board-level reporting
