VisionFund MicroFinance Institution (S.C) was established under Proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in Ethiopia’s rural and urban areas. The institution operates across four regional states and continues to expand its reach in delivering inclusive financial solutions.
VisionFund MFI is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Partnership Officer. Candidates must possess the skills, competencies, and professional background necessary to support partnership development and strategic engagement.
Position: Senior Partnership Officer
Education / Training
- MBA or BA in Project Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Economics, Marketing Management, Finance, or related fields
- A Diploma in Accounting is also acceptable
Experience
- Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in Microfinance Institutions (MFI) is preferred
Technical and Other Skills
- Proficiency in the English language
- Strong knowledge of participatory methodologies and effective communication techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to synthesize complex ideas, align them with organizational goals, and develop actionable strategies
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment
Working Conditions
- Office-based position with occasional travel to branch offices
